JOIN US for Wild & Sacred Grief, a three-day women's retreat in the quiet stillness of a cabin nestled in the pines and aspens of Hartsel, Colorado. Together with five other women, you are invited to this soul-nourishing weekend of remembrance, rest, and reconnection.
Grief asks for time, space, and witnessing. Held in a landscape that mirrors the wild and sacred terrain of our grieving hearts, we'll slow down, share stories, and gather resources for moving through grief with gentleness and presence. Over the weekend, you'll be guided through grounding rituals, writing, reflective time in nature, creative expression, and embodied practices to support your process.
Whatever grief your heart is holding, Wild and Sacred Grief invites you to lay it on the altar and create space for your heart to breathe as you are witnessed, resourced, and deeply nourished by land, sky, and the company of others who understand loss.
Arrive with your grief. Leave knowing its wild and sacred depths.
During our community gathering, we will create an altar to honor our collective losses. You are encouraged to bring photographs, special items, candles, and/or nature items as offerings for this community altar.
When we come together in community, it's important to turn inward as well. It can be grounding to reconnect with your breath and your heart, especially in times that require grief support. Throughout our time together, we will offer meditation, to foster our internal connection.
We will share personal stories of grief and loss. It can be powerful to express our grief in community. Being witnessed—simply seen and heard—without anyone trying to fix it or make it better, is a vital part of grieving. Additionally, it can be powerful to witness others share their stories of grief.
Throughout the weekend, we will offer gentle movement that supports and soothes our nervous systems. It's important to keep our bodies moving as big emotions move through us. Grief yoga incorporates traditional yoga with healing practices such as breath work and nervous system regulation.
We will provide the opportunity to spend time in nature to connect with yourself, the earth, and the elements. Surrounded by the natural world, many find a sense of grounding amid their grief. This intentional solitude allows for personal insight, rest, and the gentle holding only nature can provide.
We will offer several journal prompts during our time together, with time to write, unedited. Starting with a writing prompt, we can be surprised to find what our grief longs to express. Writing can be a helpful resource on our grief support journey.
Engaging in creativity can be a highly supportive way to move our grief into objects that honor what we are holding. You will leave with something unique and meaningful to your heart.

I am a guide, researcher, and fellow traveler in the unfolding journey of grief. My work centers on honoring life's transitions—whether that's reconnecting to your soul purpose, releasing old patterns through energy work, or engaging ancestral wisdom for healing. Starting my career as a social scientist with a PhD in Research and Evaluation Methods, I explored belonging, connection and meaning in informal learning spaces like museums. The unexpected death of my father brought me back to spirit, community, and a deep desire to walk alongside others through life's transitions. I believe in creating sacred space where each voice is welcomed and each grief honored.
I am an artist, psychotherapist, grief guide, and fellow griever walking with those who dare to feel deeply. I lean into the spaces our culture leans away from, honoring the full range of emotions that make us so beautifully human. My work is rooted in ritual, creativity, meditation, and the courage to meet whatever arises. My own path through grief continues to shape the way I hold space for others—with reverence, curiosity, and deep compassion. I believe we are meant to grieve in community and I love creating sacred space for people to come together to be witnessed and honored in the sharing of their grief.
